Ashland Nature Center of the Delaware Nature Society

The headquarters of the Delaware Nature Society features numerous pet-friendly trails which allow you to discover 130 acres of meadows and woodlands along the Red Clay Creek.

Brandywine Zoo

“Delaware’s Zoo” is home to 150 animals on 13 landscaped acres along the Brandywine River in beautiful Brandywine Park.

Delaware Children’s Museum

The museum’s interactive exhibits will stimulate your child’s mind and engage them in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math and the arts. The museum is located in the heart of the popular Wilmington Riverfront.

Delaware Museum of Nature & Science

Formerly the Delaware Museum of Natural History, the museum features permanent displays of dinosaurs, birds, mammals and shells, along with traveling exhibitions.

Greenbank Mill & Phillips Farm

Visit the lone survivor of the rich milling history of the Red Clay Valley and gain an understanding of the industrial, agricultural and social history of our ancestors. The Mill is located across the street from the Wilmington & Western.

Hagley Museum & Library

Over 230 acres of trees and gardens surround the site of the gunpowder works founded by E.I. du Pont in 1802, as well as the first du Pont family home in America. A variety of exhibits and events are offered
throughout the year.

Historic Old New Castle

Explore the cobblestone streets of the first capital of the First State. Among the historic buildings in this little town are three museums of the New Castle Historical Society, which will take you back through three centuries of the town’s history.

Longwood Gardens

Walk through 1,000+ acres of one of the world’s great gardens. Longwood also offers performing arts events, flower shows & gardening demonstrations throughout the year.

Mt. Cuba Center

Explore the former home and gardens of Mr. & Mrs. Lammot du Pont Copeland. The site is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of more than 1,000 native plants.
