Railroad To Be Featured On The PBS Series
Tracks Ahead
The Wilmington & Western Railroad will be featured on the hit PBS series Tracks Ahead this year, during the show's 7th season. The show's producers videotaped the Railroad’s operations in high definition in June 2008. Tracks Ahead is hosted by Spencer Christian, and examines all facets of trains and railroading. This is the first time in the series’ 18-year history that PBS cameras have captured the beauty of the Red Clay Valley.

In the Philadelphia market, which includes Wilmington, the episode which features the Wilmington & Western is scheduled to air on WHYY-TV 12 on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 12:00pm. This date and time is subject to change. Please check whyy.org for the latest air schedule.

Each PBS station determines when this series will air. Check local listings for air dates and times in other markets.
