While waiting for your train, stop into the T. William Simpson Gift Shop located inside Greenbank Station. The Gift Shop has a wide variety of books, shirts, hats, mugs and other unique gifts for the big railfan in your life, as well as a large selection of Thomas the Tank Engine™ & Friends merchandise for your little railroader.

T. William "Bill" Simpson (1929 - 2012) was a volunteer at the Wilmington & Western and served as Gift Shop Manager for nearly 20 years. Bill grew up along the railroad, and his extensive memory of local history, combined with his friendly personality, made him a welcome presence around Greenbank Station. The Gift Shop was dedicated in his memory in 2013.

The Gift Shop opens approximately one hour prior to the first departure of the day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when our daytime trains are operating, and during the Holiday Lights Express. The Gift Shop closes 30 minutes after the last train of the day returns, but may close earlier on days of low ridership. The Gift Shop is CLOSED during most evening excursions, including dinner and beer trains.
