ABOUT US

When the rails of the original Wilmington & Western were laid in the 1860s, none of its founders could have imagined the important role those tracks would play in the development of East Coast railroading. In the 1960s, those rails became home to one of America's first tourist railroads, and today, those rails continue to carry thousands of passengers each year through Delaware's historic Red Clay Vallley.
